This years Rendezvous at the Ocala Youth Conservation Camp Turned out to be a great event, even with having to deal with all this year has thrown at us. We had a good turnout, good demos , good food, and a very successful auction. The auction was great we auctioned off a pile of stuff. Great fellowship and nice folks.
FWC Biologists McKayla Spencer & Daniel Quinn joined us via on-line meeting and did a great job introducing a lot of us to the invasive Pythons, Lizards (Iguana & Tegu) Capturing, Early Detection and Rapid Response to these threats.
Mark Neely of Lightning Traps had some traps to sell as well as donating some for our auction.
Trapper Jay of Treasure Coast Wildlife Trappers did a demo of how to use an Armadillo Live Trap, he also spoke of the live capture of Bees & Bats and rerelease as well as some of the many other jobs he does in the business.
Next years Rendezvous will again be held in Ocala at the Youth Camp. We will also be having a Raffle, details will be provided closer to the event.
Note: you do not have to be present to win guns but do need to be there to win the other stuff.
